Brief of the work doneOn received a reliable information from District Intelligence Branch (DIB), Thoubal that one Tekcham Chaoba Singh, 27 yrs. S/o T. Birchandra Singh of Khongjom Kheba Ching Awang Leikai, a recruiting agent of unlawful organization, KYKL is being stayed at his house at Khongjom Kheba Ching Awang Leikai. Acting on the information, on 5/1/2020 at about 6:30 p.m., a team of CDO/TBL rushed to Khongjom Kheba Ching Awang Leikai area and conducted house search operation. During the house search, one unknown youth was found in a very suspicious manner. Due to his suspicious nature, he was detained for verification. On verification, he identified himself as Tekcham Chaoba Singh, 27 yrs. S/o T. Birchandra Singh of Khongjom Kheba Ching Awang Leikai. On further questioning, he disclosed that he is working as a recruiting agent of KYKL since 2018 and he recruited one Khangembam Athoi Singh (21) S/o Kh. Manglemba Singh of Samaram Mayai Leikal as a member of KYKL in the month of September, 2018 who was arrested in connection with case FIR No. 163(12)2019 TBL PS U/s 20 UA(P) Act. As such, Tekcham Chaoba Singh was arrested on 5/1/2020 at about 7:30 p.m. from his house at Khongjom Khcba Ching Awang Leikai by observing formalities and handed over to the Officer-in-Charge, Thoubal in connection with the case FIR No. 163(12)2019 TBL PS U/s 20 UA(P) Act.

Brief of the work doneOn 07/01/2020 at about 7:30 a.m., received a reliable information that some gangs members are taking shelter at Tollen village, with arms for their prejudicial activities like extortion of money from government employees, businessmen etc. Acting on the credible information, organized a joint team of Commando units of CDO/TBL assisted by a team of Churachandpur P.S. under the strict command of Inspt. N. Sadananda Singh, OC/CDO-TBL rushed to the said place. On reaching the spot, cordon and search operation was conducted. During the search, two unknown person were found in a house and tried to evade police party, however the police team overpowered and detained them. On preliminary examination, one of the unknown persons identified himself as Jangkholen @ J. Singson (50) yrs S/o (L) Paolun Singson of Monglenphai, a Civil Administrative Officer (CAO) of UTLA. One 12 bore short gun. one MI mobile phone with 2(two) SIM Cards bearing Nos. (1) 6909463554(Airtel) and (2) 6009719595(.Tio) and a sum of Rs. 12,000/- were recovered from his possession. On questioning, he disclosed that he along with his gang associates carried out extortion in Churachandpur and Bishnupur District using the above noted arms. As such, he was arrested at 4:30 pm and the recovered items were seized by observing formalities at 4:40 pm. He further admitted to have concealed two Ak-47 Riffles in collusion with two persons namely (1) Sensel (30) S/o Henkam of Hongjang (2) Gugun Samte (30) S/o Unknown of Tuijang village. Another unknown person who identified himself as Joshuia @ Kaiminthang (27) S/o Ginkholun of Khongjang village, Thanlon Sub-Division, a member of UTLA was also arrested from the spot, he joined the party in the year 2014. On body search, one mobile phone Kechaoda without sim card was recovered from his possession. He admitted that he is involved in extortion of money from the general public, businessmen and others under the command of Jangkholen @ J. Singson. The arrested two persons along with the seized items were handed over to Churachandpur Police Station for further necessary action.

Brief of the work doneOn 9/1/2020 at 01:20 p.m., based on a specific information received from own sources regarding the presence of UNLF cadre in General area of Khangrok Heirok Part II, a troop of 26 Assam Rifles established a Mobile Vehicle Check Post and carried out random frisking and checking at different places of Khangrok. During the operation, one suspected unknown person was detained for verification. On further verification, the individual identified himself as Ningthoujam Shambi @ Itocha aged about 40 year S/o (L) N. Khellen Singh of Heirok Part II Devi Mandop Mamang being a cadre of UNLF who joined the organization through one Mr. Shyam from Thoubal bazar in the year 2003 and got 45 days basic military training in the same year at Wangbren Task Force and his allotted Army No is 1434. After completion of his training, he worked under the command of S/S Sgt Major Pathou. In the above fact and circumstances, the individual is arrested from the spot i.e Khangrok Chingdum Makhong, Heirok Part II on 9/1/2020 at 02:30 p.m. by observing formalities. Hence the case.

Brief of the work doneOn 31/1/2020 at around 1:00 pm, on received of a specific information from sources regarding movement of a recruiter of banned outfit PREPAK along NH-102, a team of 26 AR launched an MVCP to apprehended the said individual at Tangjeng at about 12.30 pm. During frisking and checking duty, the suspected individual was apprehended and identified himself Kshetrimayum Boby @ Thouba Singh (41) S/o (L) Ksh. Nabachandra Singh of Sagolband Meino Leirak, Imphal West, Manipur. On spot questioning the accd. person confessed about his involvement in carrying out recruitment in the area of Imphal for the said outfit and the accd. person had recruited two individuals namely Bony of Sagolband and Joychandra of Khurai in the month of June 2016 to the banned outfit PREPAK. As such, he was arrested from the spot and handed over to TBL PS for taking legal action. Hence the case.
